Custom 3D Printing Services
Professional Multi-Color & Engineering-Grade 3D Printing
Whether you need a replacement part, a detailed hobby model, a functional prototype, or a multi-color display piece, we bring your ideas to life with professional-grade equipment and expertise.
From hobbyists and collectors to small businesses, DIY makers, and creative professionals—we're here to turn your digital designs into physical reality.
What Makes Us Different
Advanced Multi-Color & Multi-Material Technology
We operate Creality K2 Plus printers with CFS (Color Fast Switching) technology—allowing us to create vibrant multi-color prints AND combine different materials in a single print job. Need a part with rigid PLA structure and flexible PETG hinges? We can do that. Want a multi-color logo with carbon fiber reinforcement? We've got you covered. Very few services in Central Illinois offer this advanced capability.
Engineering-Grade Materials
Need strength and durability? We print in PETG-CF (Carbon Fiber Reinforced PETG) for mechanical components, brackets, enclosures, and functional parts that can handle real-world stress.
Large Build Volume
Our K2 Plus printers offer a massive 350 x 350 x 350mm (13.7" × 13.7" × 13.7") build volume—perfect for large props, display pieces, or consolidated multi-part assemblies.
Expert Setup & Support
Every project includes professional file preparation, optimal orientation, support generation, and slicing. We handle the technical details so you don't have to.
Materials We Print
PLA – Ideal for models, decorations, prototypes, and display pieces
Great surface finish, vibrant colors, easy to work with
PETG – Durable and flexible for functional, real-world applications
Weather-resistant, impact-resistant, food-safe options available
PETG-CF (Carbon Fiber) – Rigid and strong for mechanical components
Excellent dimensional stability, reduced warping, professional finish
Multi-Color Prints – Full-color designs using our CFS technology
Perfect for logos, characters, signage, and artistic pieces
Pricing
We believe in transparent, straightforward pricing. Here's how it works:
Machine Time
This is where the magic happens—your part is being precisely built layer by layer on professional equipment.
- Standard Prints (PLA/PETG, single-color): $8/hour
- Engineering Materials (PETG-CF): $12-15/hour
- Multi-Color CFS Prints: $15/hour
- Economy Option (Ender printers, basic prints): $6-8/hour
Rush service available: +25% for 24-48 hour turnaround
Material Costs
Charged at actual usage based on your print's weight:
- PLA: $0.06 per gram
- PETG: $0.08 per gram
- PETG-CF: $0.14 per gram
Setup & Preparation
Every job includes professional file preparation, optimal orientation, support generation, and slicing:
- Standard setup: $10-15 per job
- Complex prints (multiple parts, intricate supports): $15-25
- Design assistance (file modifications, scaling): $20-40
- Full custom modeling: $45-60/hour
Additional Costs
Multi-Color Purge Waste: Multi-color prints require filament purging during color changes. We bill the actual waste at the material rate—typically 20-40 grams per print. This is explained in your quote before printing.
Post-Processing (optional):
- Basic cleanup: $5-10
- Sanding & finishing: $15-30
- Assembly of multi-part prints: $10-25
Minimum Order: $25
Why Professional 3D Printing Costs More Than "Just the Filament"
You might see lower prices elsewhere—or wonder why we don't just charge for material and call it a day. Here's the reality:
When you work with us, you're paying for:
✓ Professional Equipment – Our K2 Plus printers cost $1,000+ each
✓ Multi-Color Capability – CFS technology most shops don't have
✓ Engineering Materials – Carbon fiber reinforced filaments for real strength
✓ Expert Knowledge – Proper orientation, support placement, and print settings
✓ Quality Control – We catch issues before wasting your time and our materials
✓ Failed Print Insurance – We absorb the cost of failed attempts
✓ Electricity, Maintenance & Calibration – Keeping equipment in top shape
✓ Your Time Saved – You don't need to own, learn, or maintain a 3D printer
✓ Reliability – Your print will be done right, on time, the first time
Most importantly: You're paying for access to technology and expertise most people don't have locally.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to have a 3D file ready?
Not necessarily. If you have an idea but no file, we can discuss design services or help you find existing models online. We charge separately for custom modeling.
Can you print my file exactly as-is?
We'll always review your file for printability. Sometimes we need to adjust orientation, add supports, or modify settings for the best result. We'll discuss any changes with you first.
How strong are 3D printed parts?
It depends on the material. PLA is fine for display and light use. PETG is quite durable. PETG-CF is genuinely strong and suitable for mechanical applications. We can advise on the right material for your needs.
What if my print fails?
We absorb the cost of failed prints—that's part of our service. You only pay for successful prints.
Do you offer design services?
Yes! We can modify existing files, create custom designs, or help you find what you need. Custom modeling is billed at $45-60/hour.
Can you color match my brand colors?
We'll do our best with available filament colors. For critical color matching, we recommend post-painting or powder coating (which we don't offer in-house but can recommend providers).
